Donna J. (Behnke) Hanssen, age 70 of Jackson Twp., passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born August 30, 1947, in Cleveland the daughter of the late Alvin and Ruth (Stuehm) Behnke.
Donna had worked at Pickands Mather Group in Cleveland and upon moving to Jackson she was a "momager," caring for her family.
She enjoyed knitting, donating her creations to children and people in need, and spending time with her beloved dog, Suzie.
Donna is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Christopher Levengood; son, Scott Hanssen; granddaughter, Nola Levengood; brother, John (Carol) Behnke; niece, Lisa (Rob) Sefcek; great-nephews, Mason and Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hanssen (June 18, 2017).
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
