Dora P. Hill, age 89 of Massillon, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born September 26, 1934, in Costa, WV, the daughter of the late Delbert and Mini Nelson.
She enjoyed bird watching and gardening.
Dora is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Lew "Gary" and Vickie Hill; daughters, Teresa Strine and Elizabeth "Liz" (Robert) Keller; brother, Roger Nelson and his friend Dwayne; grandchildren, Robert Lew Hill, William Wayne (Jami) Hill, Clinton Lawrence (Ashley) Hill, Tamatha (Kevin) Pinhard; great-grandchildren, Makenzi, Mason, and Madison Hill, Madalynn and Marleanna Pinhard, and Boston and Bishop Hill; and her best friend of 67 years, Ruth Motz Ayala.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Hill who died in 2001, son, Howard Dean Hill who died in 1995, four sisters, and three brothers.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 11 A.M. Rev. William Wayne Hill will officiate.
Burial to follow the service at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
