Dorothy M. Rhoads, age 94, of Perry Heights, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Danbury Senior Living. She was born December 16, 1930, in Alliance the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Hummel) Hykes. Dorothy was a homemaker. She was an avid reader and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Dorothy is survived by son, James (Ji-Son) Rhoads; grandchildren, Joe Rhoads, Lisa (Connor) Hession, Samantha Rhoads and her partner, Joe Hoover; sister, Carol Gepper; and nieces Melinda Barton and Allison Beachy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rhoads; son, Steven Rhoads; sisters, Betty (Fred) Good and Nancy Hykes; and brother, Paul Hykes. Her family will celebrate her life at a private gathering.
