Obituary

Edith A. Herman, age  75, of Massillon, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Union Hospital in Dover.
She was born July 17, 1949, in Massillon, the daughter of the late Francis and Garnet (Beck) Page.
Edith had worked at Ferraro's Bakery and Bocko Inc.
She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish - St. Mary Campus where she sang in the choir for 30 years.  She enjoyed feeding the birds, feral cats, and flower gardening.
Edith is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph P. Herman; sons, John (Tami) Herman, Scott Herman; brother, Tim (Mary) Page; grandchildren, Joey Herman, Ian Alexzander, John J. Herman, and Joshua Herman; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and many "adopted" children and grandchildren, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, David Page; and sister, Donna Wiles.


Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 First Street N.E., Massillon.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Mary's Campus.


Her final place of rest will be Calvary Cemetery.
