Edna (Dubbs) Brand, 92, of Phoenix, Arizona died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Huger Mercy Living Center in Phoenix, Arizona after an extended illness. Edna was born August 30, 1920 in Canton, Ohio.

She is survived by her children: daughter, Carolyn (Lee) Spivey of Phoenix, AZ; son, Leo (Cheryl) Brand of Wesley Chapel, FL; daughter, Judy (Jack) Clarke of Phoenix, AZ; son, Richard (Roberta Wathen) Brand of Phoenix AZ; daughter, Jane (Tom) Agnes of Williston, ND; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Brand of Massillon, and their daughter Diane, her parents Drucilla (Poland) and Charles Dubbs, her 5 brothers, Larry, Art, Ralph, Charles, and her twin, Bill; her sisters Verla Gronow, Verna Grim and Katherine Hall.

She was an active member of the Eagles 190, and Past Worthy President of the Eagles Auxiliary. She volunteered for the Massillon Soup Kitchen and also at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Massillon.

Visitation will be at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St. N.E., on Monday, Sept. 17 from 5-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 10 A.M. with Rev. Thomas Cebula celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
