Edward P. McHugh III, age 73 of Massillon, died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at his residence.
He was born December 14, 1944, in Cleveland the son of the late Edward and Anselma Sonnhalter McHugh.
Edward retired from the U.S. government after 30 years of service.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Edward is survived by: his wife, Lois McHugh; children, Lynn (Paul) Scanlon, Kevin (Talia) McHugh, and Laura McHugh; and by grandchildren, Sean and Kevin Scanlon; his sisters, Mary Bartlo and Cathleen Patton.
Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery.
