Elaine K. Young, age  89, of Massillon,  passed away April 29, 2022. She was born October 19, 1932, in Massillon the daughter of  the late Francis and Miriam (Rohr) Kohlmeier.She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Elaine is survived by sons,  Darold Meyer and Bruce Meyer; brothers, Robert Kohlmeier and Volney Schafer; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving and loved husband of 48 years, Kenneth Young; brother, Terrance Schafer; sister, Dorothy Cox, and granddaughter Ruth Ann. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Canton, on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10 A.M.  Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M.
