Elda Virginia Neglic, age 91, of Massillon, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Country Lawn Nursing Home.

She was born January 31, 1920 in Loudenville, WV, the daughter of the late George B. and Frankie O. (Francis) Haws.

Elda retired after 29 years of service from Ben Franklin on her 81st birthday when the store closed.

Elda is survived by son, Daniel Neglic of North Carolina, two daughters, Patricia (Gene) McHenry of Buena Park, CA, Joyce Michniak (Mark Hickman) of Cuyahoga Falls; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Carmella Larsen; two brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 23 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, Massillon at 10:00 AM with Pastor Steve Todd officiating.

Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Perrysville, Ohio.
