Eleanore E. Grunden, age 98 of Massillon, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024. She was born June 20, 1926, in Massillon, the daughter of the late Matthew and Susan (Sirotiock) Chovan. Eleanore retired from MCA Sign Co. where she was a bookkeeper for more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she loved participating with the Kitchen Angels.  She was also a member and volunteer at the Massillon Woman's Club.  Eleanore also enjoyed gardening and traveling. Eleanore is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Frank Grunden who died in 1984. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 127 Cherry Rd NE at 11am with Rev. Mark Kreemer and Pastor John Walker officiating. Burial to follow the service at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
