Elizabeth 'Betty' Getz, age 91, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Affinity Medical Center.

She was born June 12, 1920, in Massillon, the daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel (Koontz) Ertle.

Betty was a former worker at Perry Rubber and Ecko Products.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially shopping with her two daughters.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Kay Wesie of Massillon, and Becky (Kenny) Stillwagner, grandchildren, Ed (Linda) Wesie, Frank (Lisa) Wesie, great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Frankie Jr., and Sophia Wesie and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Getz, three brothers, Robert, Warren, and Clarence Jr., two sisters, Thelma Hoffner and Virginia Woods.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 30 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel and an hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 12PM to 1PM.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chap, 639 First St NE, Massillon at 1:00 PM.

Burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Memorial Fund.
