Elizabeth Ann Baumgartner, age 70 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at The Danbury of Massillon. She was born December 31, 1949, daughter of the late Oscar and Elizabeth (Kern) Koehler. Elizabeth was a social worker and retired from City of Cambridge.  She had formerly worked in Germany for the Army/Airforce Exchange. She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church where she volunteered, worked with R.C.I.A, and taught the Rosary.  She also belonged to the Philomathean Society of the Blind, Massillon Senior Center, and Mayor's Disability Commission. Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Laura Freidly; brother, Bert Koehler, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11 A.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Cline celebrant. Masks are required as well as social distancing. Calling hours will be held at the church prior to the Mass beginning at 10 A.M. Burial to follow the Mass in Brookfield Cemetery.
