Emmanuel D. Paradeses, age 92 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
He was born March 17, 1934, in Massillon, the son of the late James and Rose Ann (Toal) Paradeses.
Emmanuel retired from First Merit Bank after many years of service in the savings and loan department.
He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish - St. Mary Campus. He was a huge advocate for the Football Hall of Fame and volunteered for many years.
Emmanuel is survived by his wife, Evelyn Paradeses; daughter, Patricia Rieger (Eric Davis); grandchildren, Samantha and Collin Rieger; sister, Angie Darnell; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, John Paradeses, Marvin Paradeses, and Vasie Bradshaw.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Mary Campus, 206 Cherry Rd. NE at 11:00 am with The Very Rev. John Sheridan J.C.L., V.F. celebrant.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 1st St NE, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Burial to follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery in Massillon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
