Eric S. Leaver, age 56, of Jackson Twp., passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born February 12, 1965, in Massillon, the son of the late Gary and Donna (Tournoux) Leaver. Eric was a veteran and had served in the U.S. Army. He was a self employed finish carpenter.  Eric enjoyed playing softball, fishing, hunting, and golfing with his Dad. In past years, he volunteered with Hammers and Nails and with North Industry Christian Church on mission trips to Mexico. Eric is survived by daughters, Lacy (Andrew) Bargides, Karlee Leaver and her finance' Mac Johnson, and Cassie Leaver; grandson, Bentley Bargides and an expected grandchild in November.  Also surviving is his former wife and mother of his children, Tammy Leaver; siblings, Gary Leaver, Jeff Leaver, and Julie Gerber, and multiple Uncles, Aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Compassion International at compassion.com or Stark County Humane Society.
