Ethel M. Ledger, age 87, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Aultman Hospital.

She was born May 20, 1924, in Massillon and was daughter of the late Joseph L. and Edith A. (Blantz) Sibila.

Ethel retired in 1986 from the Massillon AAA and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, gardening and canning. She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church.

She is survived by daughters Linda (Kenneth) Grimm, Janie McGinnis, Alice (Ed) Knotts, and Becky McNamara, sister Gladys Sibila, all of Massillon, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ledger who died in 2002, two sisters and three brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11 A.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Cebula celebrant. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.

Visitation will be held on Sunday November 6, 2011 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel.
