Evaline Velma Kirkpatrick, of Massillon passed away on April 28, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center after a short illness.

She was born in Flushing, Ohio the daughter of the late Glen and Virginia (Hays) Devine.

She graduated from the Wheeling School of Nursing.

Evaline retired from Massillon State Hospital where she was a RN for 30 years.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Moose Aux Chapter 32, and the Wilderness Center; she was also a volunteer for the Red Cross and the Massillon Museum.

Evaline is survived by a son, George Omer (Dorothy) Kirkpatrick of Morgantown, WV; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Kirkpatrick, Susan Yvonne Kirkpatrick-Wilyat and husband Michael Wilyat all of Beach City; sister, Patsy Warwick of Newark; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kirkpatrick (1974).

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10 AM with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary School Angel Fund, 640 First St NE, Massillon, OH 44646.
