Evelyn M. Kobie, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Emeritus At Canton.

She was born January 31, 1932 in Canton, daughter of the late Raymond and Victoria (Lippert) Huth. She retired from Key Bank in 1985 and had worked at Video Safari. She ws a member of Mercy Service League and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Larry Kobie of Jackson Twp., daughter Laura (Gerard) Mastroianni of Alliance, brother James Huth of Canton and grandchildren Randi, Phillip and Christina Mastroianni. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Jean Balog and brother Raymond Huth.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Canton on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10 A.M. with Rev. Don King celebrant. Friends and family may call on Saturday from 9 to 10 at the church prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr. Ste. E, Green, Ohio 44685, or St. Michael Catholic Church, 3430 St. Michael Dr. N.W., Canton, Ohio 44718.
