Frank Edward Broderick passed away on March 25, 2017 at Jackson Ridge Care Center.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Anna Jane (Danner) Broderick, his son, Daniel (Diane) Broderick of Canal Fulton, daughter, Charlotte Brown, granddaughter, Michelle Francis, great-granddaughter, Charlie Ann Francis, all of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Rick of California; two sisters, Patricia Knotts and Colleen Broderick of Akron; four half brothers, James, Joseph, Mike of Maryland and Jerry of California; three half sisters, Cecelia Dawson, Anna Pressman and Helen Durst of Maryland.
Frank was born the son of Joseph and Edith Broderick on February 7, 1926 in Akron. He served in the Navy during World War II and also served in the Air Force.
Frank met the love of his life Annie at Meyers Lake Ballroom in 1961. They were married on St. Patrick's day, March 17, 1962.  Frank loved horses, his dog Barry, skiing, golfing, white water rafting and playing cards with his many friends.
He retired from the Hoover Company as a foreman in 1987.
The family would like to thank all the care takers at Jackson Ridge and Harbor Light Hospice for their love and concern for Frank.
Visitation will take place from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Heitger Funeral Home-Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. NW.
Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
