Frank Harvey Freyermuth, age 93 of Massillon, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Amherst Meadows Nursing Home.
He was born November 5, 1922, in Massillon the son of the late Earl and Ethel (Doll) Freyermuth.
Frank was a Navy veteran serving during WWII.
He retired in 1987 after many years of owning his own barber shop and he built and founded Riverside Lake "Frank's Lake."
He was a member of AARP, Clinton Masonic Lodge #47, Sahib Shriners Lodge #147 in Sarasota, FL, Elks 441, Moose 481, American Legion Post 221, and Amvets Post 6.
Frank is survived by his sons, Jeffrey L. (Terri) Freyermuth of Bend, OR, James (Mary Jo) Freyermuth of Massillon; step-son Jeff Dale of Illinois;  9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn (Martin) Freyermuth; two sisters, Rena Peppard and Helen Moyer.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE from 2 to 3PM.
Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 3pm with Rev. Dale Smith officiating.

Burial to be held at 10am on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in North Canton.
