Obituary

Frank A. Manzella, age 85 formerly of Massillon passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 surrounded by family.

He was born February 17, 1938 in Massillon the son of the late Pietro and Susie (Franjosie) Manzella.

Frank was a veteran and served in the Air Force.

He retired from Tyson Roller Bearing and Smith Dairy.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered at the soup kitchen every Wednesday.  He was also a member of American Legion Post 221 and the Eagles #190.  Frank loved fishing, gardening, bird watching, sports, and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his four daughters, Anita (Steve) Clawson, Toni (Dave) Rorick, Sue (Chuck) Cross, and Lisa (Larry) Myers; sister, Claudia (Lloyd) Maxhimer; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Roberta Manzella and his sister, Mary Rose Manzella.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, from 11:30am to 1pm.  A memorial service to follow at 1pm with Pastor David Oliver officiating.
