Frederick W. Schuster, age 78 of Jackson Township, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Mercy Medical Center.

He was born July 28, 1947, in Canton the son of the late Frederick and Anna (Kisela) Schuster.

He was a Navy veteran.

Frederick was a retired from Republic Steel after 41 years of service.

He was a member of St. Stephen the Martyr Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and family.

Frederick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra (Matthews) Schuster; children, Frederick Schuster, Daniel Schuster; Elisa Schuster Benedict; five grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Schuster.

He was preceded in death by Father, Frederick Schuster, Mother, Anna Schuster.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at St. Stephen the Martyr Lutheran Church, 4600 Fulton Dr NW at 11:00 am with officiating by Pastor Andrew Potsko.

His final place of rest will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
