Garry Meeks, 66 of Uniontown, went home to be with his Lord on May 27, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Gloria (Fluharty) Meeks.  He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan and their son, Eric (Sara) of TN.

Garry was the President of Meeks Communications Management, founded in 1998, a full-service advertising agency, consulting firm, and radio syndication company  based in the Akron, Ohio area.

Garry graduated from the University of Akron in 1977 with a B.A. degree in Mass Media Communications.  He served as General Manager at Christian stations in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Akron and Canton for a total of 19 years.  Garry was the past President of the Ohio Association of Evangelicals and the past Chairman of the Board of the Cleveland area Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He is a current board member of the Ohio Christian Alliance.

Per Garry's wishes, there will be no visitation or calling hours and the burial will be private.
