Gary A. Yoder, 66 of Jackson Twp., passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at University Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born July 3, 1951 in Massillon the son of Glenn and Delores (Hamel) Yoder.
He was a veteran of the Army serving during Vietnam.
Gary retired from the Massillon Post Office after 28 years as a postal carrier.
Gary enjoyed sports, especially golf.
In addition to his parents he is survived by sister, Connie (Frank) Clark, fiancee, Terri Luttrell; niece,  Stacy (Charles) Hilterbrand; great-nephew, Andy; extended Luttrell and Brahler families and a wide circle of friends.
A private graveside service will be held by the family at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.
A special thank you to Seidman Cancer Center at University Hospital, Dr. DeLima, PA team, and the nursing staff that took such tender loving care and compassion for Gary.
At a later time a celebration of his life will be announced.
