George "Lou" Kropff Jr., age 82 of Jackson Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 16, 2021. Lou was a chemical engineer and retired from Goodyear after 35 years. He was an Army Veteran.  He had been an active member of the Jackson Twp. Lions Club.  He enjoyed golf and Purdue University sports. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Pauline (Keller) Kropff; sons Robert (Janet), David (Cyndi) Kropff, and Doug (Debbie) Keller; daughter Cindy (Ken) Knotts; grandchildren, Alex Bentley and Alyssa Kropff, Kyle Knotts and Holly Stites-Knotts; great-granddaughter Vivian Stites. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Antonetta (Krueger) Kropff, Sr. and his first wife, Marilyn (Dare) Kropff. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 A.M.  on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon with funeral service beginning at 11 A.M.
