Geraldine C. (Rohr) Mathie, age 94 of Jackson Twp, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born August 30, 1923, in Massillon the daughter of  Elmer and Helen (Lindenberger) Rohr.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Geraldine is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Timothy Leahy; daughter Sally Heck; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Theda Mathie, David and Carolyn Mathie, Donald and Linda Mathie, Dennis and Rachel Mathie, Walter W. and Glenda Mathie; and Russell and Sharon Mathie; brothers, Cletus Rohr, Ronald Rohr, sister, Helen Ann Hardie; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Walter Mathie; daughters, Patty Schiller and Nancy Riemenschneider.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday,  March 7, 2018  at  St. Mary Catholic Church, 206 Cherry Rd NE, Massillon at 11 AM at  with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant.
Calling hours will be held at the church from 10 am to 11 am prior to the service.
Burial to follow the service at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton.
