Gladys Rosella Sibila, age 89 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Laurels of Massillon.
She was born July 16, 1927, in Massillon the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Blantz) Sibila.
Gladys retired in 1982 from the Timken Company after 36 years of service.
She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church and St. Barbara Ladies Guild. She was also an avid bingo player and she enjoyed bowling.
Gladys is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis Sibila, John Sibila, Paul Sibila, Florence Miller, Catherine Sibila, Ethel Ledger.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday February 16, 2017 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 2813 Lincoln Way NW, Massillon, OH 44647 at 11am with Rev. Brian Cline celebrant.
Calling hours will be held an hour prior to the service at the Heitger Funeral Home Massillon Chapel, 639 1st St NE, from 9:30 am to 10:30am.
Burial to follow the service at St. Barbara Cemetery in Massillon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
