Goldie V. Wadian, age 91 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014.

She was born November 5, 1922 in Dalton, daughter of the late Leroy and Hazel (Barkman) Forrer.

She is survived by her son Brian Wadian, granddaughter Maggie Wadian both of Louisville and nephew Larry Forrer of Dalton.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years John P. Wadian who died in 2012, daughter-in-law Sarah (Starkey) Wadian, one sister and one brother.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home – 639 First St. N.E., Massillon.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Gretchko officiating.
