Grace E. Stenger, age 91, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Shady Lawn Health Care Community.

She was born December 5, 1920 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Charles J. and Eva M. (Fromholtz) Nelson.

Grace was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church.

Grace is survived by two daughters, Jane (Ed) Hensley, Judith A. Stenger; daughter-in-law, Dawn Stenger; four granddaughters, Amy (Tom) Helsel, Julie (Michael) Hules, Michelle Cole, Jennifer Stenger; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Stenger; son, David L. Stenger, three brothers, William E., Paul G. and Ralph Nelson.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 20 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 2813 Lincoln Way West, Massillon at 10:00 AM with Rev. Thomas Cebula celebrant.

Burial at St. Barbara's Cemetery in Massillon.
