Harold F. Krantz, age 92 of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011. He was born March 13, 1919 and was son of the late Joseph and Lena (Frank) Krantz. Harold was a general contractor and owned and operated Krantz Construction. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and K of C Council #554 Third Degree.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law David P. and Joan Krantz of Jackson Twp., daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Robert Goll of Strongsville, sister Marie Kracker of Massillon, grandchildren Mark Krantz, Matt Krantz, Mary Neuenschwander, Mike Krantz, Rob Goll, Laura Goll and Julia Goll, great-grandchildren Maria, Julia, Mark Harold, Leilani, David, Andrew and Elijah. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Pauline B. (Henry) Krantz who died in 1979, and brothers Leo and Paul Krantz.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 1 P.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Robert Miller celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 First ST NE.
