Helen Sophia Eberhardt, age 91 of Massillon, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Affinity Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born January 22, 1922, in Massillon, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Phillips) Faiken.

Helen was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Helen is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Janet Eberhardt; five grandchildren, Nancy (Mark) Southard, Julie Eberhardt, Nicholas (Tami) Eberhardt, Angela and Sarah Eberhardt; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley Faiken and Tony (Phyllis) Faiken; and two sisters, Kate Patrencak and Mary Wolfe.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Eberhardt; son, William Eberhardt; and two brothers, Steve and Paul.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 15 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at St Mary's Catholic Church, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Raymond Paul celebrant.

Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Massillon.
