Helen A.(Hardison) Gresser, age 90 formerly of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Naples, Florida.

She was born January 12, 1923 in West Franklin, Maine. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Rosary Altar Confraternity. She was a charter member of Columbian Ladies Guild at the K of C and a K of C Bingo volunteer.

She is survived by her son Raymond F. Gresser Jr. of Hampden, Maine, daughters Judith Ernst of Venice, Florida Donna Young of Naples, Florida and Jane Gresser of Massillon, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Douglas M. and Lillian (Anderson) Hardison, husband Raymond Gresser Sr., and four sisters; Eva, Edna, Ruby and Martha.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Edward Gretchko celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a rememberance mass or donate to a charity of your choice.
