Homer E. Coomer, age 75, died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his home.

He was born January 16, 1940, in Akron, the son of the late Frederick Merrell and Alta Marie (Koontz) Coomer.

Homer retired from Doctors Hospital after 38 years of service.
He attended Grace Bible Church. He was a life long Cleveland Indians fan.

Homer is survived by his siblings, Vivian Shuster, Freda Anne Unklesbay, Phyllis Braden, Howard (Mary) Coomer, Carol Coomer, Donna (Larry) Ankrom and many family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Heitger Funeral Home – Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE.

Funeral Service will follow at 11AM with Pastor Mick Robinson officiating.

Burial to follow at St. Jacob's Cemetery in Greentown.
