Obituary

Howard 'Wayne' Fannin age 60 passed away on Tuesday at the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness.

He was born and raised in Montgomery, WV and had lived in Massillon for the past 24 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and Navy serving during the Vietnam Era.

He worked at New Castle Refractories/Resco Products and attended First Assembly of God where he volunteered in the soup kitchen and food pantry. He worked the Obie balloon crew for the Massillon Tiger Swing Band.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lisa (Stanley) Fannin, daughters Jessica and Rebekah Fannin of the home and Angela Breeding of Deleware, son Wayne Jr. of Maryland, three brothers, three sisters and four grandsons.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel with a prayer service at 7:45 P.M. by Pastor Ken Weaver.

Funeral Services and Burial will take place in Montgomery, WV.
