Jacob Karl Duckworth passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2024 at the age of 21.  He was born on June 15, 2003, on Father's Day, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a child, he participated in cub scouts, played soccer, flag football, and volleyball.   He was a 2021 graduate of Jackson High School and was a member of the boys' soccer team where he demonstrated hard work and determination.  He was a beloved brother who will be greatly missed.  He is survived by his parents Karl and Julie Duckworth, brothers Cody, Andrew, and Caleb, Grandparents, Tom and Kathy Duckworth and Marvin and Ruth Newman, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon at Heitger Funeral Home – Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon.  Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home beginning at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Samaritans Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
