Jacob J. Wang, age 78 of Canton, Ohio passed away on January 21, 2024 after a long illness.  Jacob was born in Chunking, China on May 19, 1945 to the late Ho-yu Wang and Huifang Wang.

He is survived by his wife Naomi Wang of 51 years, two sons; Benjamin (Christina), Christopher (Amy) and two granddaughters; Eloise and Avery.  He is also survived by two sisters and one brother.  He has his master degree in civil engineering from Villanova University in Philadelphia.  After 32 years of service, he retired from Ohio Department of Transportation as a chief highway planner 20 years ago.

He volunteered as taxaide with AARP for many years.  He is a member of the Church of the Lakes.

He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather.  He was very handy fixing the cars, roofing, carpentry, flooring, gardening, and etc.  He will be truly missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Church of the Lakes or charities of your choice are preferred.

Private services will be held at Church of the Lakes.  Rev Bryan George will officiate.

Interment will be at the Church of the Lakes Columbarium.
