James P. Adkins, age 63, of Massillon, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family and close friends. He was born July 9, 1959, in Massillon, the son of the late James O. and Ellen (Sowards) Adkins. He loved the outdoors, and loved hunting and fishing. James is survived by his wife of 42 years, Renee L. (Rohr) Adkins and his son, James S. Adkins and many close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Adkins and sister, Debbie. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Petros Park, 3275 Perry Dr NW, Canton, OH 44708,  from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M.
