James "Jim" Rice, age 66 of Minerva, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born November 19, 1954, in Canton the son of the late Theodore E. and Juanita (Sparks) Rice.
Jim retired from Area Wide Protection where he was a traffic director, and was an ex-police chief of Baltic, Ohio .
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Theodore L. Rice and James J. Rice (Jamie); significant other, Robin Shahan; brother, Steve A. Rice and sister, Beth.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Judy A. Rice.
