Obituary

James A. Karder, age 81 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at Amherst Meadows. He was born August 22, 1942, in Akron, the son of the late Louis and Gizella Karder. James retired from Karder Machine. He was a member of SASS (The Single Action Shooting Society).  James enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing, and woodworking. James is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce (Stamey) Karder; children, Carl Karder, Jennifer (James) Keiper, Jeanne (Jeffrey) Pritt; brother, Robert Karder; grandchildren, AJ, Zachariah (Mika), Maecy, Ashli, Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Leo, Cameron, Bo, and Kobe. He was preceded in death by brothers, Roger and Joe Karder. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon from 4 PM to 6 PM.
