Obituary

James E. 'Pops' Lynn, age 77, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at his residence in Canton Township.

He was born December 6, 1933, the son of the late Emerson L. and Bertha (Stevens) Lynn.

James worked at the former Republic Steel Corperation.

He was a member of the Navarre Historical Society and organized the Navarre Car Show, Massillon Area Car Club and was recording secretary for Scout Troop #914 for 20 years.

James is survived by his son, Timothy J. Lynn of Canton Twp.; brother, Robert (Ursula) Lynn; sisters, Mary Lou (James) Maurer, Jean (Frank) Leonard, Joan Olshawsky, Sandy Gonter all of Massillon, Carol Dill of Perry Twp., Judy Rohn of Massillon, four grandchildren, Megan, Kyle, Adam, and Brandon Lynn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June (Reamer) Lynn ( died 10/10/01); son Dennis Lynn (died 8/27/1978) and one sister, Pat Graber.

Visitation will be held Thurs., June 30, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Service Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Holy Family Parish at St. Clement Catholic Church, 216 Wooster St., Navarre at 10:00 A.M. with Father Edward Beneleit celebrant.

Burial at St. Clement's Cemetery, Navarre, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Navarre Historical Society, PO Box, 291, Navarre, OH 44662.
