James W. Markham, age 86 of Jackson Twp., passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022.
He was born November 25, 1936, in Charleston, WV. the son of  the late Silburn and Edna (Allen) Markham.
He moved to Akron, Ohio and met the love of his life, Marge.  They married May 9, 1959 and were blessed with 59 wonderful years together.  During those years they treasured home cooked meals with family and enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
He was a successful business owner as he owned and operated his own company, Markham Machine.
James is survived by sons Jim (Jean) and Tom; daughter, Chrissy (Chris) Marshall; brother, Meredith (Mary) Markham; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
We are at peace knowing they are together again.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and eight siblings.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
