James W. Pierce, age 72 formerly of Jackson Twp. passed away peacefully November 26, 2012.

He was born Sept. 9, 1940 in Cleveland, the son of the late William and Eleanor (Schmenk) Pierce.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas W. (Anita) Pierce of Highland Village, TX and Kevin P. (Christina) Pierce of Green, a daughter, Kelly (Randy) Baker of North Lawrence; one sister Joan (William) Keating of Arizona, grandchildren Tony (Kellie), Skyler, Zoey Pierce, Abby Baker and great granddaughter Avery Pierce.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years Katherine 'Kitty' (Manning) Pierce who died Dec. 27, 2011 and grandson Austin Michael Pierce.

There will be no calling hours or services.

A private inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will held by the family.
