James 'Wink' Riese, age 69 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012. He was born Oct. 22, 1942 in Massillon son of the late William and Norma Riese. He was retired from MRM in Massillon. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hunting mushrooms and arrowheads. He enjoyed antiques and horse shoes.

He is survived by his son Ken (Cheryl) Riese of Brewster, daughter Karen (Jack) Dillard of Canton, brothers William (Carol) Riese, Richard (Marilyn) Riese and John (Cally) Riese all of Massillon, sister Cathy (Gary) Garrettson of Newcomerstown, granddaughters Jaqueline and Alycia and longtime companion Marlene Nitz of Massillon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Ann Beers and Sally Riese.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 6 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel with Rev. Edward Gretchko officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
