Jamie W. Greene, age 39 of Akron, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Akron City Hospital.

He was born December 31, 1985.

Jamie was a graduate of Ellet High School.

He was a carpenter by trade and a member of U.S.I.C.

He enjoyed Ohio Sports, especially Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.

To know Jamie was to love him.  He had very infectious personality.  He had the biggest heart and was extremely generous.  He was loved by all who knew him.

The family is eternally grateful to Karlek Jarvis and Megan Johnston who were with him during his final hours.  Their love and friendship meant everything to Jamie.

Jamie is survived by sister, Marne K. Maylor (Brad Robertson); niece Taylor; nephews, Garrett and Anthony.  He had a small family, but he loved and cared for his friends as family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Greene.

There will be no services at this time.  The family will notify if they schedule a service at a later date.
