Jane Everhart, age 97, of Dalton, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster. She was born June 8,1927, in Northeast Twp., PA  the daughter of the late George Young and Florence (Rubner) Young. Jane retired from Tuslaw Local Schools after 30 years of service as a school bus driver. She was a devoted member of Chapel of the Cross Church Global Methodist Church in North Lawrence, enjoyed fishing and was an avid seamstress. Jane is survived by her sons; Howard W. (Shirley) Everhart, Seth C. (Darla) Everhart; Daughter, Susan Jane (Everhart) Hauenstein; Sister, Shirley Everhart; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-Grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren . She was preceded in death by Husband, Howard L. Everhart in 2010; Son Gary Everhart in 2020; Daughter Jackie Everett in 2018; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Heitger Funeral Home, Massillon Chapel at 12 P.M. with Pastor Philip Hoverstock officiating. Visitation will be one hour before from 11 to 12pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Newman Creek Cemetery in North Lawrence.
