Jane Lee Koehler, age 77, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Altercare Of Navarre following a brief illness.

She was born June 18, 1937, in Massillon the daughter of  the late Josephine A. (Kurlinski) and John J. Henzel Sr.

Jane was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church where she volunteered at hot lunch and was a holy duster.
She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, knitting, and was an excellent baker.

Jane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bert O. Koehler, son and daughter-in-law, John O. and Kelly Koehler all of Massillon; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra J. and Steven M. Keller of Portage Lakes and Deborah J. and Roger Petrey of Wadsworth; brother, John J. Henzel of Massillon; twin-sister, Janet Heimbuch of Wooster; grandchildren, Olivia L. Petrey, Mikaela R. Petrey, and Isaac J. Koehler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchildren, Oscar, Adam, and Peyton Elizabeth Koehler.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at Heitger Funeral Home, 639 First St NE from 6 to 8pm with a scriptural service at 5:45pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Barbara Catholic Church on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10am with Revs. Brian Cline and Thomas Cebula celebrants.

Entombment  will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Barbara Catholic Church, 2813 Lincoln Way W., Massillon, Ohio  44647.
