Janet E. Hustad, age 70 of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born October 2, 1946, in Madison, WI the daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Bakken) Basthemer.
Janet was formerly employed by Midwest Health Services with 15 years of service.
She was a devoted loving mother and grandmother. She loved making crafts.
Janet is survived by son, Alan (Carla) Hustad; two daughters, Sara (Todd) Barnett, and Dana (Jeff) Martinak; grandchildren, Michael, Trisha, Cari, Anthony, Chelsea, Hunter, and Ana; great-grandchildren, Deacon and Brooklyn; siblings, Steve (Patty) Basthemer, and Donna (Dave) Kogut; brother-in-law, Richard "Dick" Klaas.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ardys "Ardi" Klaas.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2551 55th St NE, Canton, OH 44721, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.  A memorial service will follow at 3:30 PM with Pastor Mark Williams officiating.
