Janet L. LaFaber, 69, of Massillon passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Affinity Medical Center.
She was born March 27, 1948 in Massillon the daughter of Nora (Grimm) and the late Earl Shipley.
She loved playing bingo and watching the Cleveland Indians.
Janet is survived by her son, David LaFaber; daughter, Christine LaFaber; mother, Nora Shipley; brother, Marvin L. Shipley Sr.; sister, Donna Jean Sauner; and grandson, Joshua that she adored and whom he loved so much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary LaFaber.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 8, 2017 at Brookfield Cemetery at 1pm with Rev. Edd Matako officiating.
Calling hours will be held on Monday at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 1st St NE, from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
