Janice A. Batdorf, age 87, of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, following a period of declining health.
She was born August 12, 1937, in Wooster, Ohio,   the daughter of the late Francis and Florence (Smathers) Sargeant.
Janice volunteered at Rose Lane Nursing Home and at the former Massillon Community Hospital.
Janice is survived by her sons, Steven (Brian Linder) Batdorf and Scott (Mary) Batdorf; former daughter-in-law, Michelle Kurkendall; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren;
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Batdorf; son, Michael Batdorf; four brothers; and two sisters.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated.
