Jeffrey D. Drayer, age 58, of North Lawrence, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He was born April 3, 1963, in Canton, son of the late Noel and Marjorie (Price) Drayer. Jeffrey worked for the Timken Steel Co. for 38 years as maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the Massillon Clinton Masonic Lodge, the Shriners and volunteered for Tuslaw Boy Scout Troup #933.  He enjoyed hunting, gardening and taking care of his lawn. Jeff is survived by his wife of 36 years, Elizabeth "Lisa" (Shaner) Drayer; daughter, Heather Vitatoe; sons, Tyler, Dillon, and Devin Drayer; brother, Randy (Kathy) Drayer, sister, Lorie Rohrer; brother in law, Ronald (Amy) Fry; three grandchildren; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ralph and Vi Dunnerstick; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Eric Rohrer. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St. N.E. and on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Cecil Thayer and Ronald Fry officiating.
