Jeffrey Lee Patton, age 70, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home.

He was born July 25, 1942 in Canton, the son of the late Donald Burr and Mary Jane (Lehmiller) Patton.

Jeff worked at Lehmiller Hardware, was an English teacher at St. Johns High School in Delphos, OH, and in human resources at Hoover Company.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He loved sports and was an avid comic book enthusiast.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 44 years, Julia A. (Moll) Patton, daughter and son-in-law, Sharon (Patton) and Matthew Green, two granddaughters, Isabel and Madeleine; sister-in-law, Jean and Tim LeBeau, two brothers-in-law, Ernie Moll and Ed Moll, mother-in-law, Betty Moll.

Visitation will be held Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel, 639 First St NE, from 6pm-8pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Raymond Paul celebrant.

Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio.
