On Sunday, August 3, 2025, age 81, born October 18, 1943 Jerrilyn L. (Burandt) Brown-Balogh found peace.

In her own words: "Please don't cry for me. I'm just where I want to be. I am finally free of pain and misery."

She is survived by husband, William "Bill" Balogh; daughter, Tammy (Harold, Jr.) Unrue; grandson, Beau Nelson; nephews, Philip and Chris Myers; their wives and children; "birth daughter", Andrea (Neil) Boone; and sons; step-daughters, Angela (Josh) Overton, Jennifer (Doug) Porter; nine step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Janet Scott, brothers-in-law, Stephen and John Balogh.

Preceded in death by parents, Jewell and John "Jerry" Burandt; sisters, Janice A. Burandt, Joan E. (brother-in-law, Gail "Skip") Myers; nephew, Michael A. Myers; and first husband, Ed Brown.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

A graveside service will be held at Greensburg Cemetery, 4890 Thursby Rd, N. Canton 44720, on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 2 PM.  A

Celebration of Life will be held at Doylestown American Legion Post #407, 49 Black Dr, Doylestown, OH 44230 on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 2 PM to 5 PM.
